32GB DDR4-3200 RDIMM - Label Detail
The label is where the part number, capacity, rank and speed rating live, and it is what we read and check against your order before anything ships. A 32GB DDR4 RDIMM comes in 2Rx4 and 2Rx8 organisations and they are not interchangeable on every platform. 32GB DDR4-3200 is the density most 2U and 4U servers are actually populated with, because it fills a channel cheaply without moving to the LRDIMM pricing that 64GB parts sit at. Two things catch buyers out. First, organisation: 32GB DDR4 RDIMMs are sold as 2Rx4 and as 2Rx8, and while both usually train at 3200, some platforms will only run one of them at full speed across a full channel population, so the label matters. Second, generation: a 3200 module will run at 2933 or 2666 in an older Xeon Scalable platform, the speed being set by the processor and the slowest module in the channel, so buying 3200 to fill a 2nd Gen server is fine but it will not make that server faster. If you tell us the server model, we will tell you which organisation and speed we would ship. Full server memory range. Transparent Pricing
2026 Reference Pricing by Configuration
We do not publish a fixed price for DDR4 RDIMM either. DDR4 has been dragged upward by the DDR5 shortage through 2026, and the secondary market moves weekly rather than quarterly, so a figure printed here would be stale before it was useful and would have to be withdrawn. Every 32GB DDR4-3200 module is therefore quoted against the tray or pull stock we can confirm for your quantity at the rate in force that day. Tell us quantity and platform and we will put a firm figure in writing with the date it holds until.
Single Modules
On Request
Individually checked modules, new or pull condition stated before you commit. Quoted against live stock.
Matched Kits (8, 12 or 16 DIMMs)
On Request
Full channel population from one lot and one organisation, so a 2P build is not assembled from mixed batches.
Volume Orders (100+ modules)
On Request
Batch quantities consolidated from our Hong Kong warehouse, with freight and packing quoted alongside the memory.
No price is published on this page: DDR4 pricing moved with the 2026 memory market and we will not print a figure that may be wrong by the time you read it. Send quantity, server model and organisation (2Rx4 or 2Rx8) and we quote against live stock. Related reading: DDR4 vs DDR5: upgrade or hold and capacity planning across 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

Quality Process
What We Check Before a 32GB DDR4-3200 Module Ships
Part Number and Label Read
The label is read and photographed, and the part number, capacity, rank and speed rating are checked against your order specification rather than against the family it belongs to. A 32GB DDR4 RDIMM exists in several part numbers across vendors and the label is the only reliable statement of which one you are getting.
Organisation Confirmed (2Rx4 vs 2Rx8)
Rank and DRAM width are verified rather than assumed, because a mixed population of 2Rx4 and 2Rx8 across one channel can force a lower speed or fail to train on some platforms.
SPD Read
SPD is read on a test platform to confirm the module reports the speed, organisation and vendor data it should. A module can pass a visual check and still carry SPD that the platform refuses.
Gold Finger and Pin Condition
Edge connector inspected under magnification for wear, scoring and bent pins. Pull memory is the one component where visible wear genuinely predicts seating faults.
Serial Logging
Serial numbers are recorded per module before packing, so a mixed or short shipment traces back to the specific units dispatched rather than to a carton.
Report in the Box
Every unit ships with its per-machine diagnostic report and warranty. Full process: inspection guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 32GB DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM cost?
We quote it rather than publish it. DDR4 pricing followed the DDR5 shortage upward through 2026 and the secondary market moves weekly, so a fixed figure goes stale fast. Send quantity and server model and you get a firm number in writing with the date it holds until.
Should I buy 32GB or 64GB DDR4-3200 modules?
Compare the two on cost per gigabyte for the capacity you actually need, not on unit price. 64GB DDR4 modules sit above 32GB in cost per gigabyte in most of 2026, so filling a channel with 32GB parts is usually the cheaper route to the same total capacity. The exception is slot-limited servers: if you have already run out of DIMM slots, 64GB or 128GB is the only way to add capacity, and then cost per gigabyte stops being the deciding number.
Will 2Rx4 and 2Rx8 modules work together?
Often at reduced speed and sometimes not at all, which is why we ask. Both organisations exist at 32GB and both usually train individually at DDR4-3200, but a channel populated with a mix can drop to 2933 or fail to train on some Xeon Scalable and EPYC platforms. Tell us the server model and we will tell you which combination we would ship and which we would not.
Can I install DDR4-3200 in an older server that runs 2933?
Yes. The module will run at the platform's supported speed, so a 2nd Gen Xeon Scalable server will run it at 2933 and a 1st Gen at 2666. The memory speed in a channel is set by the processor and the slowest module present, so buying 3200 for an older platform costs nothing extra to run but does not raise its speed.
Are these modules new or pulled?
Both are available and the condition is stated line by line before you order, never after. New modules carry the manufacturer warranty process; pulls are tested and carry our own 1 year written warranty. If a quote does not state condition, ask us and we will put it in writing.
