DDR5 moved power management onto the module, so a DDR5 RDIMM carries its own PMIC and SPD hub rather than relying on the board alone. That matters when you are replacing or extending memory: mixing vendors inside a channel is normally fine at JEDEC speed, but a module whose PMIC or SPD firmware misbehaves will drag down the whole channel, which is why we read the label and check the part number against your order instead of shipping whatever is on the shelf. Organisation is the other thing buyers get caught by. A 2Rx4 module and a 2Rx8 module of the same capacity and speed are not interchangeable in every platform, and some 64GB DDR5 parts are 2Rx4 while others are 1Rx4 or 3DS stacked. If your platform documentation names an organisation, tell us and we match it. Full server memory range. Module photographs on this page: PantheraLeo1359531, CC BY 4.0, via Wikimedia Commons.

Transparent Pricing

2026 Reference Pricing by Configuration

We do not publish a fixed price for DDR5 RDIMM. Through 2026 DRAM contract pricing has been repricing on a scale that makes a printed number useless within days: a figure we post today can be wrong by the time you read it, and a figure we honour from last month is a figure we lose money on. So every 64GB DDR5-4800 module is quoted against the tray or pull stock we can actually confirm for your quantity, at the rate in force that day. If you need a number to budget against, tell us the quantity and platform and we will put a firm figure in writing with the date it holds until.

Single Modules

On Request

Individually checked modules, new or pull condition stated before you commit. Quoted against live stock.

Matched Kits (8 or 12 DIMMs)

On Request

Full channel or socket population from one lot, so a 2P build is not assembled from mixed batches. Tell us your platform and channel count.

Volume Orders (100+ modules)

On Request

Batch quantities consolidated from our Hong Kong warehouse, with freight and packing quoted alongside the memory.

No price is published on this page, by choice rather than omission: DDR5 pricing has been moving too fast in 2026 for a static figure to be honest. Send quantity, platform and organisation (2Rx4 confirmed by the label above) and we will quote against live stock. What We Check Before a 64GB DDR5-4800 Module Ships

1

Part Number and Label Read

The module label is read and photographed, and the part number, capacity, organisation and speed rating are checked against the exact specification on your order. A 64GB DDR5 RDIMM exists in several part numbers across vendors, and the label is the only reliable statement of which one you are getting.

2

Organisation Confirmed (2Rx4 vs 2Rx8)

Organisation is verified rather than assumed. A 64GB module can be 2Rx4 or stacked 3DS depending on vendor and generation, and platforms do not always accept both in the same slot population.

3

PMIC and SPD Presence

DDR5 puts a PMIC and SPD hub on the module, so both are present and undamaged on inspection. Physical damage to the PMIC area is the most common defect we find on pulled DDR5 modules.

4

Gold Finger and Pin Condition

Edge connector inspected under magnification for wear, scratching and bent pins, since a pull module can be electrically fine and still refuse to seat cleanly.

5

Serial Logging

Serial numbers are recorded per module before packing, so a mixed or short shipment can be traced back to the specific units dispatched rather than to a carton number.

Report in the Box

Every unit ships with its per-machine diagnostic report and warranty. Full process: inspection guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 64GB DDR5-4800 ECC RDIMM cost?

We quote it rather than publish it. DDR5 pricing through 2026 has been repricing fast enough that a printed figure goes stale within days, so we quote against confirmed stock at the rate in force when you ask. Send quantity, platform and organisation and you get a firm number with the date it holds until.

Will 64GB DDR5-4800 modules work in a DDR5-5600 platform?

Yes, and they will run at 4800 unless the platform and the rest of the memory population allow higher. DDR5 memory support runs at the speed of the slowest module in the channel, so mixing 4800 and 5600 parts across a channel is common in upgrades but pins the channel to 4800. If you want the platform's full speed, populate with matched modules at that speed.

Is DDR5-4800 worth buying now, or should I wait for DDR5-5600?

It depends on your platform and your timeline rather than on the modules themselves. On Xeon 4th and 5th Gen and EPYC 9004 the difference is a bandwidth figure that most database, virtualisation and general server workloads will not notice, while 5600 costs more per gigabyte. If your boards and firmware support 5600 and you are buying once for several years, buy at 5600. If you are extending existing 4800 populations or filling channels on a budget, 4800 is the sensible buy and there is far more of it on the secondary market.

Can I mix brands in the same server?

At JEDEC speed, normally yes, and mixed populations are routine in upgrades. The practical limits are organisation and rank: mixing 2Rx4 and 2Rx8 in the same channel can force a lower speed or fail to train at all on some platforms. Give us your platform and we will tell you which combinations we would and would not ship.

Are these modules new or pulled?

Both are available and the condition is stated line by line before you order, never after. New modules carry the manufacturer warranty process; pulls are tested and carry our own 1 year written warranty. If a quote does not state condition, ask us and we will put it in writing.
