A 32GB 2Rx8 module is a DDR5 design with its own PMIC and SPD hub on the module, so the board no longer supplies the memory rails. DDR5 RDIMMs of this capacity exist in more than one organisation, and the platform documentation may name one of them. Capacity per channel is what decides the build: twelve 32GB modules is 384GB on a twelve-channel platform, eight is 256GB on an eight-channel one. Full server memory range. Transparent Pricing

2026 Reference Pricing by Configuration

We do not publish a fixed price for DDR5 RDIMM. DRAM contract pricing has been repricing through 2026 at a rate that makes a printed figure stale within days, so every module is quoted against the tray or pull stock we can confirm for your quantity, at the rate in force that day. If you need a number to budget against, tell us the quantity and the platform and we will put a firm figure in writing with the date it holds until.

Single Modules

On Request

Individually checked modules, new or pull condition stated before you commit. Quoted against live stock.

Matched Kits (8 or 12 DIMMs)

On Request

Full channel or socket population drawn from one lot, so a dual-socket build is not assembled from mixed batches. Tell us your platform and channel count.

Volume Orders (100+ modules)

On Request

Batch quantities consolidated from our Hong Kong warehouse, with freight and packing quoted alongside the memory.

No price is published on this page by choice rather than omission: DDR5 pricing has been moving too fast in 2026 for a static figure to be honest. Send quantity, platform and the organisation your platform expects and we will quote against live stock. Related reading: DDR5 RDIMM capacity planning and buying server CPU under memory inflation.

Quality Process

What We Check Before a 32GB DDR5-4800 RDIMM Ships

1

Part Number and Label Read

The label is read and photographed, and the part number, capacity, organisation and speed rating are checked against the specification on your order. DRAM vendors ship several parts per capacity that differ only in the suffix.

2

Organisation Confirmed

2Rx4 and 2Rx8 are verified rather than assumed: the same capacity and speed in a different organisation is not interchangeable in every platform, and some boards specify one or the other.

3

Register and SPD Check

The register clock driver and the SPD are checked for damage, and the SPD read is compared against the label before the module goes into stock.

4

Gold Finger and Pin Condition

The edge connector is inspected under magnification for wear, scratching and bent pins, since a pull module can be electrically sound and still refuse to seat cleanly.

5

Serial Logging

Serial numbers are recorded per module before packing, so a short or mixed shipment can be traced to the units dispatched rather than to a carton number.

Report in the Box

Every unit ships with its per-machine diagnostic report and warranty. Full process: inspection guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 32GB DDR5-4800 ECC RDIMM cost?

We quote rather than publish. DDR5 pricing through 2026 has moved too fast for a static figure to stay honest, so we confirm condition and stock for your quantity and put a firm figure in writing with the date it holds until.

What does 2Rx8 mean, and does it matter?

dual rank, x8 DRAMs - the "R" is ranks per module and the "x" number is the DRAM package width. It matters because the platform sets a rank limit per channel: a four-rank module loads the channel like two two-rank modules, so the processor datasheet decides how many of these you can fit per channel, and mixing organisations in one channel can force a lower speed.

Will DDR5-4800 modules run at full speed in a faster platform?

They run at 4800. Memory support settles at the speed of the slowest module in the channel, so a DDR5-4800 part pins that channel to 4800 even on a board rated to 5600. If you want the higher figure, populate the whole channel at the higher speed; mixing speeds gives you the lower one.

Can I mix these with the DDR5 modules I already have?

Within the same type, normally yes at JEDEC speed, provided the organisation and rank are close enough for the platform to train. Mixing a 2Rx4 module with a 2Rx8 in one channel can force a lower speed or fail outright on some boards. Tell us the platform and the installed population and we will check it before shipping.

Are these modules new or pulled?

Both are available and the condition is stated line by line before you order. New modules carry the manufacturer warranty process; pulls are tested and carry our own one year written warranty.
