32GB DDR4-2133 ECC LRDIMM

A 32GB 4Rx4 ECC load-reduced DDR4-2133 module (PC4-17000) at 1.2V, for Xeon E5-2600 v3 and v4 platforms. LRDIMM is the technology that puts capacity into a generation that the equivalent RDIMM could not reach, at the cost of one speed step.

LRDIMM is not a marketing variant of RDIMM, it is a different electrical design: the load-reduced buffer isolates the DRAM ranks from the memory bus, which is how a quad-rank module can be driven at all. The practical consequence is that you cannot mix LRDIMM and RDIMM in the same channel, and the platform has to support the type. What you get for that constraint is capacity at a density and price the RDIMM of that generation cannot match. Full server memory range. Transparent Pricing

2026 Reference Pricing by Configuration

We do not publish a fixed price for DDR4 RDIMM or LRDIMM. DRAM contract pricing has been repricing through 2026 at a rate that makes a printed figure stale within days, so every module is quoted against the tray or pull stock we can confirm for your quantity, at the rate in force that day. If you need a number to budget against, tell us the quantity and the platform and we will put a firm figure in writing with the date it holds until.

Single Modules

On Request

Individually checked modules, new or pull condition stated before you commit. Quoted against live stock.

Matched Kits (8 or 12 DIMMs)

On Request

Full channel or socket population drawn from one lot, so a dual-socket build is not assembled from mixed batches. Tell us your platform and channel count.

Volume Orders (100+ modules)

On Request

Batch quantities consolidated from our Hong Kong warehouse, with freight and packing quoted alongside the memory.

No price is published on this page by choice rather than omission: DDR4 pricing has been moving too fast in 2026 for a static figure to be honest. Send quantity, platform and whether you need RDIMM or LRDIMM and we will quote against live stock. Related reading: server memory capacity planning and buying server CPU under memory inflation.

What We Check Before a 32GB DDR4-2133 LRDIMM Ships

1

Type Confirmed as LRDIMM

The single most expensive mistake in DDR4 buying is an LRDIMM shipped where an RDIMM was needed, or the reverse. We read the label and verify the type before anything is packed.

2

Rank and Organisation

4Rx4 is verified against the label, because a quad-rank module places a heavier electrical load on the channel and the platform has to be specified for it.

3

Buffer and SPD Check

The load-reduced buffer and SPD are inspected and the SPD read is compared against the label.

4

Gold Finger and Pin Condition

Edge connector inspected under magnification - a pulled module can be electrically sound and still fail to seat cleanly.

5

Serial Logging

Serial numbers recorded per module before packing, so a mixed or short shipment can be traced to the units dispatched.

Report in the Box

Every unit ships with its per-machine diagnostic report and warranty. Full process: inspection guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 32GB DDR4-2133 ECC LRDIMM cost?

We quote rather than publish. DDR4 pricing through 2026 has moved too fast for a static figure to stay honest, so we confirm condition and stock for your quantity and put a firm figure in writing with the date it holds until.

What is the difference between LRDIMM and RDIMM?

An RDIMM registers the address and command signals; an LRDIMM additionally buffers the data lines through a load-reduced buffer, which lets it carry more ranks and therefore more capacity per module. The trade is that LRDIMM and RDIMM cannot be mixed in a channel, and not every platform accepts LRDIMM.

Will 2133 modules work in a 2400 or 2666 platform?

In most cases yes, and they will run at 2133. Memory support settles at the speed of the slowest module in the channel, so a 2133 part pins that channel to 2133. If the platform is going to be extended later with faster modules, populate at the faster speed now rather than mixing.

Can I use these alongside RDIMMs I already have?

Not in the same channel. LRDIMM and RDIMM use different buffering and the platform will either refuse the population or fail to train. Tell us what is already installed and we will tell you whether the population works or whether you should keep the two types on separate servers.

Are these modules new or pulled?

Both are available and the condition is stated line by line before you order. New modules carry the manufacturer warranty process; pulls are tested and carry our own one year written warranty.
